ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager - Logistics Supervisor to assist the Site Manager, supervise a team and perform Pre-Expended Bin services for the Fleet Readiness Center located at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, FL.
Key Role:
Supervise daily operational support activities provided to Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) by ASRC Federal for the DLA Industrial Product-Support Vendor (IPV) Contract.
Provide daily interface with FRCSE and DLA Aviation Jacksonville representatives to ensure the smooth flow of bench stock parts to the production lines.
Responsible for ensuring the completion of all day-today operational requirements required by the contract as assigned by the site manager.
Customer satisfaction and the accomplishment of all parts availability metrics are the primary functional requirements of the local site team.
Assist the Site Manager in developing and managing staffing requirements, implementation plans, Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), and training schedules to satisfy the terms of the contract as assigned by the Program Manager.
Produce or provide input to all required reports submitted to the Government.
Brief the Site Manager and communicate with the FRCSE Pre-Expended Bin (PEB) Manager, DLA and ASRC Federal officials as directed by the Site Manager.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Site Manager.
The Logistics Supervisor will supervise the efforts of a team of ASRC Federal and subcontractor employees who perform the following functions:
Timely processing of orders, follow-ups, receipt of material, and movement of material from central receiving point or warehouse to FRCSE bench stock locations.
Review and recommend FRCSE bins for additions and deletions of stock numbers to the master schedule of items (SOI) list.
Oversee placement of bench stock in bins or in designated delivery point(s) supporting the FRCSE.
Oversees adjustment to bin levels to maximizes customer fulfillment and prevent production line stoppages, along with order analysis to resolve problem items.
Work with DLA representative and ASRC Federal Procurement to expedite material for FRCSE as required.
Oversee spot buys for critical items through coordination with the ASRC Federal Procurement team.
Coordinate the set-up of new bench stock locations for FRCSE with site manager and material planner.
Assist with Kitting department, coordinate with PEB Manager and/or COR for any issues that may arise from within ASRC Federal, from Kit Shop Supervisors, or DLA material issues. May need to help occasionally with coordination of receiving in material from DLA, Commercial vendors or spot buys, pre-counting material for kit assembly, helping with inventory, and certifying receipts.
Requirements :
Five (5) or more years' experience working in the Logistics or Supply Chain field, three (3) of which must have been in a Team Lead or Supervisor role
Direct experience working on projects with or for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or any Department of Defense Agency/Repair Depot
Supervising teams to complete actions item lists in a teamwork environment
Comfortable briefing senior leadership in these organizations
Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance
High School Diploma
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
Knowledge/Skills Required:
The individual must have a good understanding of Supply Chain Management methodology along with working experience of the U.S Defense MILSTRIP process, DoD Bench Stock management, and associated Supply Chain Management systems.
Knowledge of DOD procedures required for the expediting of high priority requisitions, processing of receipts and returns, and submission of SDRs and PQDRs.
General understanding of demand analysis and how it impacts inventory investments and production schedules.
It is desired that the individual be familiar with ISO requirements, Safety, and training plans.
Thorough working knowledge of DoD systems such as FEDMALL and WEBVLIPS to include query capability, demand analysis, and status checks on open orders to both government and commercial sources of supply.
DoD bench stock management processes.
