Job Summary:
The Program Control Analyst will support ongoing efforts on our CLOIS contract, focusing on financial reporting, analysis, and collaboration with key stakeholders including the Business Office, Sr. Staff, Space Force, and NASA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare Actual vs. Reported Cost reports.
Submit weekly Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS) reports and perform reconciliations.
Analyze monthly overtime costs and prepare presentation slides for management and government review.
Perform analysis of subcontractor costs.
Prepare various financial reports and perform analysis on a monthly basis and as assigned.
Prepare ad hoc reports for internal and external customers using Microsoft Access and Excel.
Interface with Business Office personnel, supervisors, Space Force, and NASA on financial-related tasks.
Provide financial support within the CLOIS Program Management Office (PMO), under the direction of the Lead Financial Analyst.
Execute financial functions independently or with supervision depending on task complexity.
Support staffing planning, task order budgeting, and the response process.
Prepare internal and external financial deliverables, including reports, plans, and notifications.
Ensure invoices are accurate and submitted on time to minimize program Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Complete project setup actions in the accounting system and update as required to reflect project changes.
Support budgeting and forecasting in line with growth and profitability objectives, developing Estimates at Completion (EACs) for revenue recognition.
Interface with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project financial status.
Implement and administer program financial processes in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), corporate policies, and government regulations
Requirements:
BS/BA or higher degree in a related business field.
2-4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software applications.
Highly Desirable: Experience with Deltek Costpoint, IBM Cognos and IBM TM1, Excel Power Pivot, Power BI.
Experience with fixed-price and cost-plus contracts preferred.
Working knowledge of DoD Procedural Requirements related to financial management reporting.
Familiarity with DoD procurement regulations relating to contract administration.
Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to complete complex assignments with minimal supervision.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-starter with a proactive approach.
Must meet citizenship requirements and currently possess or be able to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
