PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Provide intermediate maintenance at overseas locations for the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) portfolio of CUAS and companion systems.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform area spectrum analysis of the environment to determine threats and C-UAS solutions. Determine best placement of SOCOM provided C-UAS systems to provide best possible coverage of expeditionary fixed sites and mobile platforms and resolve conditions that may cause fratricide between SOCOM provided systems and other systems
Perform installation of SOCOM ECM and C-UAS systems at expeditionary fixed site locations and mobile platforms
Perform software/load set loading, and coordinate troubleshooting of SOCOM ECM and C-UAS systems with FSRs
Report on a periodic basis (weekly) on quantity and type of items in need of repair, items awaiting repair, and trend analysis of systems reliability and effectiveness
Maintain stockage levels for repair parts, whether accountable or consumable, based upon demand history and lead time for SOCOM ECM and C-UAS systems
Distribute approved operating systems and load sets to update systems
Provide operator and organizational level training for SOF-P C-UAS systems and coordinate operator and organizational level training for BOS-I provided C-UAS systems to forward deployed unit personnel
Perform technical inspections of unit C-UAS property to determine its readiness level, currency with approved modification work orders, and lifecycle status
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must have at least three years' experience training forward deployed personnel of C-UAS systems
Must have a Baccalaureate Engineering Degree or at least eight years' experience in an engineering field, and at least three years' experience performing direct C-UAS technical support
Must have formal training in C-UAS/ECM system installation, operations, and basic maintenance; operation of diagnostic equipment; and troubleshooting of complex systems
Must have formal training with maintaining and upgrading software-defined electronic systems, to include installing firmware, software, changing configurations and networking
US Department of Defense TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility
Must have more than ten years' experience coordinating with and briefing military staff in a deployed environment
Must have experience with maintenance records, such as inspection worksheets, maintenance requests, equipment registers, etc., whether manual or electronic
Must have experience with property accountability records, such as hand receipts, turn-in documents, shipping documents, etc., whether manual or electronic
Must have experience working in a deployed environment with minimal life support conditions for extended duration in support of DoD or other US Government elements
Must be capable of being medically cleared to deploy in hostile areas for up to 330 days and capable of operating independently, traveling alone, and fulfilling all assigned tasks with little supervision
Must be capable of lifting equipment to a height of 40" and, without assistance, carrying equipment (weighing up to 100 lbs.) up to 50 feet
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The primary place of performance is at Fort Bragg, NC and up to 330 days per year OCONUS at various locations
OCONUS workdays are generally 12-hours in duration, seven days a week
