Job Description:
Okta Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Okta's Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop comprehensive IAM strategies.
Provide expert-level guidance on the configuration, integration, and customization of Okta's platform to meet unique business requirements.
Conduct assessments, identify gaps, and recommend enhancements to improve security, compliance, and overall efficiency of the IAM solution.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to Okta integrations, working closely with customers to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Okta technologies, advising customers on best practices for implementing and managing their Okta environment.
Lead customer workshops, presentations, and training sessions to facilitate knowledge transfer and ensure successful adoption of solutions.
Partner with cross-functional teams, including security, network, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Stay up to date on the latest Okta features, security trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
Okta Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Okta Identity and Access Management solutions, including advanced configuration and troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of Okta APIs, SDKs, and integrations with cloud and on-premise systems.
Experience with security protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and LDAP.
Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Strong customer-facing skills, including experience in conducting client meetings, presentations, and training sessions.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as Zero Trust, NIST, and ISO 27001.
Experience with related tools such as Active Directory, Azure AD, or other identity management platforms is a plus.
Okta Certified Administrator or Okta Certified Professional certification is preferred.
Azure Entra Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in implementing and managing Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) or related identity solutions.
Strong understanding of identity protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and WS-Federation.
Experience with Azure AD Connect, Azure AD B2B/B2C, and Entra Permissions Management.
Proven ability to lead technical projects involving complex integrations and cross-functional teams.
Strong customer-facing communication skills, capable of leading client meetings, workshops, and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Azure AD, identity, and security services.
Familiarity with security frameworks like Zero Trust, NIST, or CIS.
Azure certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect or Azure Security Engineer, are preferred.
Azure Entra Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Azure Entra solutions, with a focus on Azure Active Directory, identity governance, and conditional access.
Collaborate with clients to gather business and technical requirements, translate them into actionable architecture designs, and deliver tailored identity solutions.
Provide expert-level support for Azure AD services, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), identity lifecycle management, and self-service capabilities.
Lead technical troubleshooting and support efforts, working closely with customers to resolve complex identity-related issues.
Integrate Azure Entra solutions with other Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365, Entra Permissions Management, and third-party applications.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for security best practices related to Azure Entra, including Zero Trust, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and security policies.
Conduct customer-facing workshops, demos, and training sessions to ensure successful onboarding and user adoption of Azure Entra solutions.
Work alongside internal teams and external stakeholders to implement robust identity and access management (IAM) frameworks that align with security and compliance requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Azure Entra's new features, updates, and industry best practices to continually enhance service delivery.
Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
Stay up to date on the latest Azure Entra features, security trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $100,500 - $186,700.
