What We Are Looking For:
Provide Federal IT budget analysis, dashboard development, and maintenance support. Work closely with the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) on end-to-end budgetary needs including planning, execution, and reporting. This client-facing role requires adapting to a dynamic environment and evolving demands.
· Determine the feasibility of automating government financial business practices.
· Support definition of government financial business practices and incorporate processes into an automated solution.
· Assist in applying sound accounting and data processing principles.
· Integrate government financial business practices.
· Identify potential problems and solutions through analysis and recommends solutions.
· Work with functional specialists, vendors, and customers to effectively automate requirements.
· Apply applications, while adhering to established accounting principles and practices.
· Assisting in planning and executing Agency budgetary resources, including assistance in establishing budget controls and budget loads into the Agency's financial system.
· Support the reporting of IT Exhibit 53's and 300's
· Administering and executing quarterly and annual commitment and obligation plans.
· Assisting in developing reports and supporting budget execution reviews to monitor execution performance.
· Working with the Agency team in developing mission and operational resource requirements. Supporting reviews and analyses to ensure that planned activities/milestones are realistic, properly costed, and consistent with program objectives and the Agency's investment strategy.
· Assisting in establishing projections for, and monitoring execution of, funds received from all sources. Supporting financial analysis and execution reports as required to meet customer and management needs.
· Providing input to the formulation and justification of assigned programs for the POM, BES and President's Budget exhibits.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of experience providing IT Budgetary services to IT management and technical staff in a federal IT organization.
Proficient skills and capabilities in Microsoft Office suite of applications/tools - especially MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS SharePoint.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership skills.
Preferred:
6 years of experience providing IT Budgetary services to a Federal Chief Information Officer
Prior experience using PowerBI or ServiceNow
Bachelor's Degree
