Job Summary: SUNY Brockport invites applications for the International Student Advisor position. This role is responsible for supporting international students throughout their academic experience at Brockport. Reporting to the Associate Director for International Enrollment and Support Services, the successful candidate will possess excellent cross-cultural communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated commitment to student success.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited US Department of Education or internationally recognized institution by the time of appointment.
Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment with a variety of constituents.
Demonstrated excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases.
Must have a valid driver's license and U.S. Passport or obtain one within 6 months or hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in recruiting, admissions, international education, student services, advisement, or a related area.
Experience creating marketing materials.
Knowledge of SEVIS regulations.
Fluency in a second language.
International travel experience.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm
Salary and Benefits: The minimum salary for this position is $55,151.
