Manage team responsible for the collective administration of the organization's total rewards program.
Monitor the consistency and effectiveness of compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures.
Regularly evaluate the compensation program, review salary structures for parity in the marketplace, and recommend changes to senior leadership. Identify, recommend, and implement revisions to ensure the salary program is affordable, cost effective, and consistent with compensation trends and organizational objectives.
Oversee the day-to-day administration of the wage and salary administration program. Approve the processing of base salary pay increases, e.g., promotions, market adjustments, internal equity adjustments, and FLSA exemption status changes.
Manage the intake and assignment of job analyses, the drafting/editing of job descriptions, job evaluations, FLSA status review, and review of external market comparisons.
Perform regular audits of teammate compensation to ensure regulatory compliance (Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and internal pay equity across the organization.
Manage salary survey participation. Respond to select survey data requests. Analyze and communicate survey results to senior leadership and utilize results to ensure market competitiveness.
Oversee the annual incentive process and process bonuses accurately and timely.
Monitor trends affecting pay and benefits and assess impact. Monitor market conditions and federal state and local governmental regulation changes to ensure compliance.
Oversee the day-to-day administration of the employee benefits program, i.e., new enrollments, COBRA processing, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability claims, accident and death claims, 401(k), and legally mandated benefits.
Serve as the primary point of contact to brokers and benefits vendors and providers.
Identify and recommend benefits plan design changes, cost savings opportunities, and other efficiencies.
Develop cost control procedures to ensure maximum coverage at least possible cost to the organization and teammates.
Support and guide the team to respond to employee inquiries, leaves of absence, accommodations, carrier representatives or general support requests, and benefits issues.
Identify and recommend benefit plan design changes and cost savings opportunities and other efficiencies.
Monitor benefit trends in the business environment while staying abreast of applicable benefits legislation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and procedures.

Demonstrated understanding of wage and salary administration and compliance.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations e.g., FLSA, EEO, ERISA, ADEA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, USERRA, Social Security, and workers' compensation.
Expertise using Excel.
