WARSIM Instructor/Controller

HOW A WARSIM INSTRUCTOR/CONTROLLER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Lead Constructive Simulation Instructor prepares and delivers Constructive Simulation training based on event training. Tests and troubleshoots both hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems through the use of capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events; analyzes and documents flaws in system configuration and implements corrections.
Coordinates the development and delivery of complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives.
Establishes and reviews course content.
Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities.
Plans, coordinates, and conducts training and related instructional programs for customer personnel.
Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness.
Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced instructors.
Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: BS/BA in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training
Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of JLCCTC-MRF/ WARSIM functional operations and Low-Overhead Driver (LOD); Operational understanding of SISO; Experience with OneSAF and JSAF; Knowledge of networking standards for distributed simulation interoperability (DIS and HLA); Knowledge of how to integrate live data stream (fires, sensors, reports); Knowledge of how to integrate C2 systems; Experience with importing LDIF; SCENGEN experience desired; LOGFED experience desired; Advanced knowledge of Army War Fighting Functions: Command and Control, Movement and Maneuver, Intelligence, Fires, Sustainment, Protection; along with Orders of battle to accurately simulate scenarios.
Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance
Required Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated effective presentation and communication skills / Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs / Advanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter
Location: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites in the AoR

The likely salary range for this position is $88,275 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
