Essential Functions:
Non-remote work location in San Diego, CA.

Visit supplier sites, as required, to create/audit supplier processes, review technical plans for compliance, build milestone plans, perform inspections/buy-offs, and offer technical support to ensure order quality and delivery targets.
Administer and execute Supplier Corrective Actions Reports/responses (SCARs) and ensure follow up activities occur to verify and validate implementation and effectiveness.

Drives supplier risk reduction activities from initial procurement through supplier delivery.
Supports generating and managing supplier ratings/scorecards for communication of needed improvement or successes.
Implement and conduct supplier Partnership Reviews, Zero Defect Plans (ZDP) and Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRRs), as required, for critical suppliers.
Travel up to 25%.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Components Engineering with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Ability to focus, prioritize, and multi-task successfully to drive issues/actions to closure.
Experience with one or more processes IAW MIL-STD-883 Test Method 2010-2017 and MIL-STD-750 Test Method 2066-2077.
Experience in electronics, inspection, soldering and workmanship to Military Standards, J-STD-001 (current Rev) and Inspection Standard IPC-A-610 (current Rev), work plans, assembly practices.
Applied experience in generating and evaluating 8D's (root cause and corrective action).
Ability to perform trend analysis.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Greenbelt in lean concepts and Six Sigma problem solving.
Presenting to mid-level management.
Working knowledge of MIL-HDBK-454, MIL-PRF-38534 and MIL-PRF-38535.
Familiar with a wide range of manufacturing processes including filter assembly, metal work, coatings, and cable assembly.
Familiar with alloys and intermetallic processing.
Auditing to ISO 9000 or AS9100 standards.
Familiarity with quality tools: SPC, FMEA/PFMEA, Kaizen, Fault Tree Analysis.
ASQ certifications: CQT, CSQP, CQE.
Ability to balance multiple tasks and projects.
Understand GDT and reading engineering drawings.
Must have strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
Ability to make effective decisions and exercise good judgment.
Demonstrated skills in time management.
Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing skills.
Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance, if required.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
