Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mid-Level Wastewater Engineer to support projects in Northern/Southern California- the role would require site location visits - hybrid role/office locations - Oakland, Sacramento, Walnut Creek, or Pasadena.
What You'll Be Doing:
Works on wastewater treatment and biosolids management studies, prepares contract document plans, and specifications, and assists with cost estimates for various wastewater treatment and biosolids management projects.
Collects and analyzes treatment plant and biosolids management operating data and prepares technical memoranda and reports.
Stay abreast of current and future regulations and trends in wastewater treatment, reclamation and reuse technologies in California.
Stay abreast of current and future trends in biosolids processing, management, and waste-to-energy recovery.
Coordinate the work of drafters, and technicians.
Work location will be hybrid: remote, field, and occasional Parsons Walnut Creek Office.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
7 - years or more of wastewater engineering planning and design experience on one or more of the following practice areas: wastewater treatment, wastewater reclamation, and/or biosolids and residuals management.
Registration as a Professional Engineer in California or the ability to obtain within one year.
Demonstrated experience in the planning and design of wastewater infrastructure projects with responsibility for budget, schedule, and quality standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
California PE License.
Design, construction, and O&M phase experience.
Experience with AutoCAD, GIS, Microsoft Project, and BioWin software tools.

Salary Range:
$70,500.00 - $145,800.00
