A Production Specialist Senior operates equipment and performs processes to build hardware. They are recognized as an expert within their work cell. They require minimal supervision, may assist in directing work, assigning, or outlining tasks or checking work for correctness. They possess excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication skills, and routinely demonstrate an ability to prioritize their work and schedule their time. The person in this role utilizes their advanced processing experience to trouble shoot and resolve issues with production support teams. Rigorously documents processes performed in electronic tracking systems. Executes tasks to ensure that equipment and processes being used are in control.
3rd Shift - 8:00PM - 4:30AM - Goleta, California. This position is an onsite role. What you will do:
Work in a class 100 cleanroom, in a full bunny suit, under yellow lights is required.
Process Focal Plane Arrays in a work cell (Hybridize, Wet Etch, Photomask, Fixturing, Diamond Point Turning, hotplate, surface treat, deposition, wire bond, metrology, inspection etc.) to build hardware.
Follow written procedures and work instructions.
Handle fragile hardware and manually manipulate small parts during processing.
Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.
Utilize strong interpersonal communication skills with peers, support teams and management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 8 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
Experience with MS Office.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
More than eight years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
Experience in Hybridization, Thin Film Deposition, Photolithography, Wet Etch, or other cleanroom Focal Plane Array fabrication work cells.
Ability to work safely with chemicals and raw production materials.
Ability to multitask.

The hourly range for this role is $24.04 to $57.69. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
