Overview
Ideal candidate will assist a government program executive officer (PEO), deputy PEO, deputy director, chief of staff and subordinate program/project managers in the execution of a multi-billion-dollar combat power and space domain awareness portfolio.
Responsibilities
Assist a government program executive officer (PEO), deputy PEO, deputy director, chief of staff and subordinate program/project managers in the execution of a multi-billion-dollar combat power and space domain awareness portfolio.
Manage a $200M classified facility overhaul program overseeing 7 facilities. Tasks include but are not limited to responding to, gathering, analyzing and ascertaining near and long-term strategic facility requirements and developing actionable courses of action to satisfy those requirements.
Responsible for advising, coordinating and planning with facility managers, contracting, finance, security, communications, civil engineering and private sector contractors.
Interface across all levels of Space Systems Command and Space Base Delta-Three leadership to articulate facility requirements, advocate for the customers needs and present information for leadership awareness and decision making.
As part of the PEO leadership team, the applicant may be called upon for various acquisition and leadership advisory activities.
Skills Required
Years of Experience: 5 years of Operational and Acquisitions experience
Experience with United States Air Force (USAF), United States Space Force (USSF), and/or Space Systems Command (SSC) chain of command
Proficient utilization of Task Management Tool (TMT))
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Must effectively communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical and administrative accuracy in a professional manner
Interest and ability to work in a dynamic work environment
Must be able perform all duties independently
U.S. citizenship required
Active TS/SCI Security clearance required
Education: Bachelors Degree
Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000, DOE
Education
Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
