Program Summary
The Fort Irwin National Training Center is a major training area for the United States military and is located in the Mojave Desert in northern San Bernardino County, California. KBR provides maintenance and logistics services to customers at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California to support the U.S. Army building brigade combat team readiness with ten annual training rotations.
Job Summary
As the Logistics Warehouse General Foreman, you will supervise warehouse employees during the issue, receipt, turn in and shipment of parts and materials in support of customer's activities and be responsible for warehouse layout planning, establishment of document files, preparation of required documents and reports.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with cyclic inventory ensuring 100 % inventory of the Stock Record Account (SRA) as assigned. Investigate and reconcile discrepancies and report those that could not be resolved at lower levels.
Assist and review a daily checklist to ensure key tasks are accomplished to contract performance standards by section employees.
Oversee the transfer, adjustment, turn-in, issue, receipt and control of all materials assigned to warehouse.
Ensure proper planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project material and the control of project furnished small tools and third-party rentals.
Supervise and review work activities for accuracy and effectiveness.
Provide leadership towards the development of organizational structures and processes required to fully execute the requirements of services.
Provide technical guidance and training to assigned personnel.
Monitor and review work performed.
Evaluate service execution for compliance with contract, schedule, cost budgets, and quality.
Advise team of statuses, issues, impacts, risks, and cost influence factors in reference to the scope of work.
Provide updates to the team regarding safety rules and procedures.
Perform complex assignments and fulfill a broad range of responsibilities where outcomes are defined, but methods and procedures may vary based on judgment or precedent.
Conduct Quality self-audits to ensure the SSA operates in accordance with local policies and procedures contained in AR 710-2 and AR 735-5.
Supervise union employees on a daily basis, conduct performance counseling, make recommendations for discipline/termination of employment and participate in the KBR selection/retention process.
May be required to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a Secret Security clearance and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for this position.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience in supply activity functions specializing in warehouse operations.
Must have at least 3 years of experience as a supervisor.
Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Must have a valid State Driver's License.
Requires the ability to operate Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT).
Requires knowledge of the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army).
Must have familiarity with Post-Goods Issue Process, Turn-In Process, Put Away Actions, and Storage Support Functions.
Requires expertise in General Foreman Level Supply Support Activities (SSA).
Must meet the criteria of DA PAM 611-21 and AR 601-210.
Must be physically capable of performing the work in extreme temperatures, low humidity, blowing sand and dust.
Must be able to work under stressful circumstances and meet short suspense dates.
Must be able to perform required duties while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Must be able to lift/move 45 lbs. without assistance and up to 80 lbs. with assistance.
Must be able to work at heights above ten (10) feet but not more than thirty (30) feet.

Military MOS 92A.
Pay
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
Basic Compensation: $61,200 - $91,800
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
