As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will develop and support RF test automation systems for aerospace and defense programs. Our test systems automate the RF testing and calibration of our products which includes: controlling the device under test, RF test equipment, switch matrices, ovens and temperature plates, performing RF measurements, and collecting, storing and processing data. Role involves working with hardware and software--Strong RF test and programming skills are required. Worksite location options: Onsite: Oxnard, CA Hybrid: 2-3 days in office and WFH the remainder of the week (based on business needs) Remote: 100% WFH is not authorized based on business needs and company culture You are responsible for: Building and supporting RF test automation hardware and software. Design, assemble, and validate new RF test systems for use in a production environment. Create automation tools for use by RF and digital engineers during product development. Maintain and upgrade existing systems. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience and 6-8 years of professional development experience Proficient with RF test equipment such as: Signal Generators Spectrum Analyzers Network Analyzers Noise Figure Meters. Proficient with RF measurements such as: Gain VSWR IMD P1dB Spurious Phase Noise Proficient lab bench and hardware skills: soldering, mechanical assembly. Proficient with Windows Office tools, especially Excel. Proficient in C#/F#/Java/Python or similar. Experience with software team collaboration tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira. Must have a security clearance Preferred Experience: Experience with Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code * Experience with SQL/Databases Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $82,000 - $164,000 for an Individual Contributor III at Oxnard CA USA.
