With general supervision, this position is responsible for administering one or more assigned functional business continuity program(s) including but not limited to emergency response and recovery, and crisis management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participates in the development of program recommendations at both tactical and strategic levels.
Responds to a variety of non- routine inquiries.
Essential Functions
Participate in the design and development of assigned functional business continuity program(s) and administer the program(s).
Prepare technical reports and develop appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records.
Make internal presentations.
May participate in the development of business continuity policies and procedures.
Participate in the development, maintenance and testing of detailed plans to ensure continuity of business processes.
May provide leadership, direction, and training to less experienced staff.
Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Other duties as assigned or required.
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and three or more years progressive experience in business continuity.
Equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
Must demonstrate a general understanding in the application of business continuity concepts and practices, with the ability to organize, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established
milestones.
Experience with Business Continuity Planning Tools such as Fusion or similar
Experience with Mass Communication Tool such as Everbridge or similar
Ability to partner with ITS and vendor to manage implementations of BC Planning Tool enhancements and hands on technical work
Experience in managing the planning and execution of Business Impact Analysis and managing third party vendor collaborations as well
Experience conducting Tabletop Exercises with various Business Partners
Incident Response and After-Action Reporting for Business Continuity Events
Required to share Business Continuity Team On Call Schedule and oversight during BC Events which can be outside normal business hours
