Job Description:
L3 Harris is currently seeking to hire for the position of Technical Support - Engineering in the area of Logistics Engineering and Planning. The candidate will be responsible for specialized tasks in one or more of the following support functions:
Essential Functions:
Internal Communications
Critical asset tracking
Track and manage SW and tools licenses
Work with the Calibration lab for asset calibration
Order equipment/assets/etc.
Capital request efforts
Inventory management
Pickup and deliver equipment around the facility
Manage leased assets
Interface to vendors
Logistical and on-site support for Field Test events
Documentation development and maintenance
Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Humanities with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Familiarity with GPS technology
Experience in planning and controls
Experience with engineering equipment, tools, & software
Understanding of SW & tools licenses
Inventory
Familiarity with GPS Electronics / Circuit Design.
A/D and D/A Circuit Design, Interfacing and use experience
Familiarity with industry standard EDA tools including schematic capture, PCB layout and FPGA development/simulation.
Experience in development of military products, a plus.
Must possess and demonstrate outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience working in small or large groups on less structured task-related activities requiring judgement and organization.
Experienced with MS Office applications, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Ability to lift 30 lbs.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $57,000 - $106,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
