Overview
Tactical Engineering and Analysis, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide general administrative work in support of Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific customer.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Works under general supervision to:
Perform general administrative work in support of the customer.
Delegate general tasks in support of the customer, ensuring tasking is completed in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
Supports office operations, vendor coordination and scheduling internal meetings.
Supporting customer by facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties.
Assist with preparation of spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
Acts as point of contact for vendor to client purchase quotes. As necessary, assist Government clients with purchase requests (gather quotes and complete purchase request paperwork)
Submission of Visitor Access Requests (VARs) for government approval.
Coordination with program managers regarding procurement processes.
Coordination within TEA and COR to expedite Lab Access Requests (LARs) and badge renewal.
Equipment Used: Operates standard computer based business tools that require but not limited to MS Office Word, Excel Powerpoint an Office, effectively.

Essential Physical Tasks: Ability to lift 10 lbs. on an occasional basis. Ability to use a personal computer, keyboard and mouse on a consistent basis
Written Communications: Effective operational knowledge of standard computer based business tools (including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel). Proficient in the reading, writing and comprehension of technical documentation and manuals.
Verbal Communications: Demonstrates excellent clear and concise verbal communication skills.
Qualifications
Skills / Qualifications:
Proven work experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator or similar role.
Hands-n experience with MS Office Suite (particularly MS Word and MS Excel)
Solid time-management abilities with the ability to prioritize tasks
Customer Interface Activities:
Interfaces with customer and other contractor/civilian/military representatives utilizing clear and effective written and oral communication skills.
Provides input for consolidated Monthly Status Reports (MSR).
Project Management Tasks: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to ensure optimum productivity.
Work Schedule: 9/80 - The ability to work non-standard work hours and schedules in support of project requirements.
Minimum Education Requirements: High School diploma or GED.
Pay Range: $28.84 to $38.46 an hour, DOE. This is a non-exempt, full-time position.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Security Clearance:
Candidates must have an active clearance OR the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance, and will be subject to a US security background investigation (i.e. favorable background investigation / credit score). Additional eligibility requirements for access to various levels of classified information may also be required. An active security clearance is highly desirable.
