Job Description:
PDS Tech Inc. is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team in the water industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding stainless steel pipes and will be responsible for preparing, cutting, and welding pipe fittings. This is a temporary position with opportunities for skilled welders looking to showcase their expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Welding: Perform specialty TIG butt welding tasks on stainless steel pipes, including welding outlets, spool pieces, flanges, etc.
Preparation: Independently prep, cut, and assemble parts to meet project specifications.
Quality Inspection: Inspect all work for defects, ensuring proper dimensions, alignment, and end preparations; check for seam splits in pipes.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized welding station, adhering to safety standards and quality performance guidelines.
Reporting: Report any equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and necessary repairs to supervisors.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel.
Strong understanding of pipe preparation and welding techniques.
Ability to inspect and ensure high-quality work standards.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $28.00 per hour
