Description: As a qualified Security Professional, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the development, administration, and auditing of complex security programs and Communications Security (COMSEC) to ensure effectiveness and compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material.
Your responsibilities will include studying and implementing federal security regulations, such as NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16, DoDM 5205.07 Series/JSIG, ICD, and DOD security guidance (NISPOM) to ensure company compliance and contract execution.
Additionally, you will support the management of COMSEC as the COMSEC account manager for the servicing needs of multiple programs handling classified and sensitive information. You will also provide support as an Alternate Contract Program Security Officer (ACPSO)/Contractor Special Security Office (CSSO). Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Performing individual and team roles supporting contractual security requirements.
-Assisting in the preparation of implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishing procedures for handling, storing, records retention, and granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials.
-Integrating with the program office and liaising with government customers to seek contract execution approvals and security rulings, deviations and/or waivers.
-Assisting in the development and delivery of company security education and awareness programs.
-Aiding in the investigation of security infractions and violations.
-Processing clearances, customer visits and providing support for classified meetings as necessary.
-Administering accountable COMSEC per NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16, and other Department of Defense issuances such as National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) and National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
-Using the National Security Agency required tool, Distributed INFOSEC Accounting System (DIAS), for maintaining COMSEC material control.
-Ensuring tracking, transfer and destruction of Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI's) and COMSEC keying material, to include semiannual inventories.
-Accomplishing physical accounting of all COMSEC and CCI, training, consulting with, and assisting users with keying material and equipment acquisition, installation, keying and maintenance according to the applicable doctrine.
-Administering and recording COMSEC-required briefings.
-Obtaining rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies and NSA.
-Identifying, investigating, documenting and reporting COMSEC incidents to proper authority.
-Supporting network operations of the NSA type 1 network encryption equipment through collaboration with IT staff.
-As needed, preparing operation manuals outlining COMSEC regulations, establishing COMSEC procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel access to COMSEC materials.
-Assisting with implementation of Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) implementation.
-Managing classified material and multiple containers in the dedicated COMSEC work area, to include destruction of superseded keying material.
-Supporting SAP Programs as an ACPSO
-Interfacing with US Government representatives to address security concerns, requirements, compliance, etc.
-Occasionally working extended hours (other than normal business hours) to support contractual requirements to meet customer needs.

Basic Qualifications:
TS Clearance required prior to start, with ability to obtain TS/SCI**
Experience interpreting, evaluating and analyzing Program Security Guides and Government Directives to include: NISPOM, ICD, DoD SAP Manuals, and JSIG Guides.
Knowledge and experience with COMSEC
-Training or experience with the National Security Agency required tool, DIAS, for maintaining COMSEC material control.
-Ability to assist users with keying material and equipment acquisition, installation, keying and maintenance according to the applicable doctrine.
Operate a motor vehicle for occasional business travel, including local courier runs within a hour's drive on a monthly basis.
Experience preparing for and participating in audits by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency and/or National Security Agency.
Desired Skills:
-Experience as FSO, AFSO, CPSO, ACPSO, CSSO, ACSSO or equivalent.
-Knowledge of DD254's
-Working knowledge of physical security standards across various security environments -Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
