What You Will Do :
Support Guidehouse's Corporate Security Insider Threat program to deter, detect, and mitigate the risk of insiders using authorized access to resources-personnel, facilities, information, equipment, systems, and networks-to harm, unwittingly or wittingly, national security through espionage, terrorism, unauthorized disclosure, loss or degradation of capabilities, or resources.
Develop and improve insider threat modeling that leverages Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), User Behavior Analytics (UBA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), User Activity Monitoring (UAM), and automated solutions in place
Collaboration and Coordination with organizational stakeholders, such as General Counsel, Human Resources, IT Security, and Privacy Office
Prevention and Detection Analysis via behavioral analytics and data models to configure automated alerts
Support in training and briefings raising awareness on the insider threat program and reporting methods
Assist in the oversight of the implementation, tuning, and maturation of User Activity Monitoring (UAM)
Routinely brief program leadership and key stakeholders regarding insider threat inquiries, case development, and key findings leading to successful incident mitigation
Support investigations of all incidents involving insider threats
Refinement of procedures and policies
What You Will Need :
A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET SCI (TS/SCI) federal security clearance
Bachelor's Degree
FIVE (5) or more years' experience in either Cyber Security, Law Enforcement, Intelligence, Insider Threat
Ability to analyze and evaluate, on a quantitative or qualitative basis, the effectiveness of the Insider Threat Program's operations in meeting established goals and objectives
Ability to gather, identify, receive, ingest, examine, integrating data on potential insider threat incidents from various sources following established guidelines, policies, and procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Ability to review and evaluate program progress status, trends in any functions, and goals and objectives
Ability to prepare responses to queries, reports, justifications, and background papers on insider threat issues
Ability to plan, organize, develop, coordinate, and represent the Insider Threat Program in briefings with internal and external senior stakeholders to inform them of the progress of initiatives
What Would Be Nice To Have :
EIGHT (8) or more years' cybersecurity, counterintelligence, insider threat analysis experience
Cyber Security, Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, or Human Resources specific degree
SIEM or UAM certification
Experience with both Government and Private Sector
Insider Threat Related Certifications
The annual salary range for this position is $75,800.00-$113,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
