Your Main Objective:
Leidos is looking for a System Administrator to join a team of similar individuals who work alongside the government on a 24x7 desk to support field sites. This candidate will provide support for user issues (applications, accesses), physical site issues, dataflow, communications, etc.
The successful candidate will be a part of a team that provides support to multiple organizations from a central location, with no travel requirements. This is an exciting position that supports a mission critical program with high visibility and a proven track record.
What Sets You Apart:
Qualifications: Ten (10) years' experience as an SA on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
System Administrator - SHIFT (SA-S) Level 2
This is a NIGHT position, 12-hour shifts, 5 pm - 5 am. The days are as follows: Sun/Wed/Thur, Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat then repeat.
Tasking includes, but not limited to:
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
Provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Monitor and notify according to procedures. Monitor screens and site data for issues.
The candidate must currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:
Microsoft Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
CompTIA Linux+ Linux Professional Institute (LPIC) level 1 or higher
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification
Or equivalent approved by customer.
You Might Also Have:
Personnel must be fully cleared. To be considered fully cleared, personnel must have a favorably adjudicated Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) within the last seven (7) years and/or have been enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program. Eligible personnel also require a favorably adjudicated Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSPG) within the last seven (7) years and must have completed a Full Scope Polygraph (FSPG) during the applicant's initial or continued final clearance processing.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
