Overview
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Test, Design and Evaluation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the government customer in the Falls Church, Virginia area.
Essential Job Duties
Designs, assesses, develops, formulates and evaluates test plans for candidate technologies, integrated technologies, and capabilities.
Analyzes alternatives, assesses objectives, proposes key objectives (e.g., demonstrating performance metrics).
Evaluates performance, utility, and potential applications during testing.
Assesses technology readiness levels (TRLs) demonstrated, verifies reported performance, evaluates actual demonstrated performance, and reprioritize efforts accordingly.
Produces monthly Special Access Program (SAP) reports and monthly technical project test assessment reports.
Conducts program demonstration and experimentation analysis of alternatives.
Minimum Requirements
Active in Scope TS/SCI Clearance; eligible for Special Access Program read on; willing to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph if required.
Master's degree or higher in engineering or other technological discipline.
20+ years in an engineering or other related field.
Expert in evaluating, designing evaluating test plans.
Expert in testing candidate technologies and capabilities.
Expert in alternative analysis.
Expert in developing technology performance metrics to evaluate industry developments for consideration by the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.
Expert in evaluating performance, utility and potential applications during testing.
Preferred Qualifications
Department of Defense or military experience desired; experience in capability development, technology transition, and acquisition a plus.
Work Environment
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
