Job Description:
As an Engineering Technician / Systems Integrator, you will provide vital support to our engineers and lead the execution of highly complex tasks. You’ll work within defined processes and contribute to developing approaches for new assignments. From fabrication and assembly to integration and testing, you’ll be responsible for constructing and testing high-power mechanical and electrical assemblies to deliver successful solutions for mission-critical projects. Responsibilities
- Assembly & Integration: Perform all aspects of mechanical and electrical assembly, from component fabrication to subassembly and final integration, based on precise engineering drawings.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct functional checkouts and system testing of electrical, electronic, and mechanical assemblies, with the ability to troubleshoot and isolate faults to component levels with minimal supervision.
- Technical Documentation & Rework: Document non-conformances, perform rework or modifications per technical guidance, and ensure all changes are integrated into system documentation.
- Process Improvement: Make recommendations for refining equipment and integration processes, using studies and evaluations to enhance product and process outcomes.
- Advanced Testing & Experimentation: Conduct complex tests and experiments, analyze results, and make equipment modifications to improve overall performance.
- Design Input: Compile and analyze data on designs, specifications, and materials, and recommend design improvements based on findings.
- Mentorship & Guidance: Provide technical guidance to junior technicians and coordinate their work activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance: Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in electronic, mechanical, or related technical roles; or a two-year degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in advanced engineering methods and testing techniques related to complex operational processes.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, visualize three-dimensional shapes from two-dimensional views, and understand standard engineering symbology and flag notes.
- Equipment Proficiency: Skilled in using a variety of floor machinery (manual mill, lathe, drill press), hand tools (drills, grinders), and precision measuring instruments (calipers, gauges, multimeter).

Salary Range:
