Responsibilities
Be part of a dynamic team that delivers excellence and quality for the NRO's Mission Integration Directorate (MID). Sciolex Corporation is seeking to fill an opening for a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) Pentagon (J2/J8) Outreach Representative. The customer outreach activities are focused on Joint Staff J2 and Joint Staff J8 senior personnel and subordinate offices located in the Pentagon. On average, 50% of support is provided from NRO designated desk located within the J2 Office. Make a difference in securing our nation's security through quality Outreach of NRO's tools and capabilities.
The ideal Representative will perform engagements across the Intelligence Community utilizing customer domain experience / expertise across all disciplines.
Embedded within the J2/J8 to promote collaboration between Joint Staff and the NRO and preparing briefings for senior decision makers.
Author Joint Staff issue papers and daily status reports to satisfy Joint Staff critical information requirements (CCIRs).
Facilitate communication, cooperation and National System technical collection expertise between the customer and its users, to include top ranking officials.
Provide expert advice, in-depth training, and exercise / operational support to IC partners by identifying customer capabilities that contribute to users' success.
Generates and disseminates daily intelligence summaries for NRO leadership consumption.
Supports NRO assessments of CCMD integration Priority Lists (IPLs) and coordinates/supports NRO participation in JROC/JCIDs meetings.
Provides strategic planning and senior staff support, including strategic and operational engagement coordination.
Executes customer strategic messaging, user needs tracking, business intelligence and data metrics capture, and customer relationship management and monitoring.
Frequent interaction with government, SETA, FFRDC, and external stakeholders
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
ActiveTS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
Bachelor's degree and9+year's professional related experience
Must be highly self-motivated; strong technical and leadership background; professional and tactful under pressure; effective negotiation and diplomatic skills
Must have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, for coordinated communications with organization and representatives throughout the IC and DOD, including senior military and government civilian personnel and contractors
Understanding of the intelligence community and customer domain, along with a strong Proven experience with technical fundamentals in IC space collectors, command and control, mission control, and mission processing
Experience identifying user needs and gaps, identifying potential solutions, and assessing/analyzing alternatives
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums
Knowledge of SIGINT and GEOINT remote sensing systems, protection, and overall space and ground architecture including mission management and/or mission processing functions
