Responsibilities
Calling all Systems Engineers! Sciolex Corporation seeking all levels of Systems Engineers to join our government customer in Chantilly, VA.
Our Systems Engineers are responsible for providing systems engineering support in one or more fundamental areas for one or more domains in various phases of the system lifecycle from pre-acquisition through operation and maintenance and system retirement.
The candidates must provide technical assistance associated with hardware/software development, integration, test, and deployment of national technical systems in the SIGINT, GEOINT, and COMM domains.
Technical focus on customer systems and domain expertise in Ground, SIGINT or IMINT are required. These positions deal primarily with measurables using analytical tools derived from mathematics and hard sciences and use deductive reasoning & processes qualifications.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements
IT Requirements Manager
Immediate opening for an Information Technology Requirements Manager to evaluate and quantify technical assessments and coordinate cost impacts assessments with Subject Matter Experts for the future use of IT by SIGINT and GEOINT mission customers. The successful applicant will participate within a team of Systems Engineers to work with mission customers to help translate mission needs into requirements for technical implementation and IT budget forecasting. The successful candidate will also work with mission customers through a series of Technical Exchange Meetings to clarify and document needs, and then communicate those needs to IT Service Providers for planning purposes.
Responsibilities
On the job training will be provided in the customer's specific Systems Engineering processes and knowledge domain, but the successful candidate must be able to:
- Work independently as well as within a team
Proactively coordinate, research, and evaluate customer proposed needs
Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings with mission customers
Participate in customer design review meetings on IT services
Evaluate and quantify technical assessments and coordinate cost impact assessments with Subject Matter Experts for future use of IT by SIGINT and GEOINT mission customers
Strategically assesses the customer's vision against customer needs to seek opportunities to influence and improve IT service delivery options
Assist customers with evaluating IT service demand against available service provider roadmaps in an effort to help prioritize IT expansion verses recapitalization investments
Perform as a change agent focused on translating customer needs into IT service provider requirements
When requirements increase/change after the baseline approval, inform customers of the need to update system requirements and appropriate inter-organization funding, or Un-Funded Request (UFR) definitions; and notify the appropriate Program Management Offices
