Global Dimensions is recruiting for an upcoming opportunity and seeking candidates who will be available upon award. Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Program Manager to be responsible for the overall management and performance of all task orders in Africa and be the primary point of contact to the Government in Africa. The manager shall have oversight of activities, scheduling, development of plans and supervision of project/site managers assigned to task orders. The PM provides overall management support and contractor supervision to ensure the team works together to meet objectives.
Manage day-to-day tasks associated with the project.
Ensure the project remains on time and on budget by identifying open positions that need to be filled and ensuring requirements are relayed to the recruiting Director for dissemination to the recruiters.
Act as a liaison between the project team and Global Dimension senior management as well as the project customer or stakeholder.
Submit required trackers and rosters to the prime on the appropriate due dates. Also, must have communication with the prime on a weekly basis, but preferably daily.
Have continuous communication with employees and make certain that they complete any annual training, certifications, etc.
Prepare and present progress reports and ensure the project is furthering organizational goals.
Effectively coordinate numerous projects, managing different participants, mitigating challenges, and working to achieve the desired outcome of the contract and the company.
Manage short-term, definitive timeline, and closes when complete.
Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
Prepare a budget based on scope of work and resource requirements to meet needs.
Track project costs to meet budget set for project and provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Manage projects with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Requirements
Must have a Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 15+ years of program management experience.
Five years of directly related experience managing projects valuing at least $10,000,000 involving equipment procurement and training in an austere environment.
Management experience serving as the highest-ranking company official deployed in-country and responsible for a given project.
One or more years' experience working in sub-Saharan Africa
DLPT 3/3 in French
Knowledge of Government contract policies and procedures.
Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities.
Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Experience working with customer objectives and company goals.
Must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills.
Experience working OCONUS (Africa) and/or on AFRICAP or ACOTA programs is highly desirable.
PMP and/or ITIL certification desired.
