This team of engineers is focused on providing geolocation solutions directly to decision makers and warfighters around the world. They engage with leadership, mission partners, and solution providers to align requirements, resources, and solutions to enhance the Global Geolocation Infrastructure. Information and tools provided by this team are leveraged by the Intelligence Community as well as forward deployed military assets to assess and affect the operational environment. You will learn to navigate organizational constructions, facilitate collaboration, maintain partnerships, develop communication tools, and manage the implementation of ideas from inception to deployment.
Day to Day Tasks:
Participate in customer engagement and outreach activities working with stakeholders across contract vehicles, agency organizations, the military, foreign partners, and the IC
Provide reporting to customer, management, engineering leads, and product teams
Work closely with the customers, product users, and product owners to understand the mission drivers/needs and communicate them to development teams
Identify dependencies across requirements and customers in multiple organizations for product development as well as collaboration toward a comprehensive customer engagement strategy
Work with mission stakeholders to define needs/requirements
Identify milestone dates for deliveries and track delivery timelines
Work with the Atlassian tool suite to track requirements (JIRA & Confluence)
Help refine and implement a comprehensive customer engagement strategy
Requirements:
Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
Seven (7) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of knowledge and leadership
Ability to apply critical thinking to information and recommend appropriate actions
Experience working with software deployment teams
Experience with agile methodologies and the ability to create epics, functional requirements, and user stories
Ability to meet with customers and identify their needs, derive requirements, and align those with the appropriate products or applications
Experience managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of products and systems that are compatible with the system architecture(s)
Desired:
Functional understanding of military SIGINT and Geolocation systems
Ability to coordinate end users to further the geolocation mission
Basic understanding of data formats (i.e., XML) and flows
Understanding of cross platform geolocation mission use cases and applicable workflows

The base salary range for this position is $160K to $180K. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
