Are you mission focused and ready to be with a team that truly values your contributions? We are currently seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer professional to join our team. This role involves providing expert analysis and support for complex hardware systems, including design, architecture, and network issues, along with procurement and acceptance testing of equipment. Responsibilities include deploying, installing, and implementing hardware at Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS), as well as both preventative and remedial maintenance support. The position entails preparing specifications based on system requirements, conducting site surveys, and developing engineering plans and Technical Design Packages. Additionally, it involves organizing installations, configuring computers and networking devices, documenting configurations, and preparing installation and test reports.
Requirements
Must have the ability to prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions
Experienced in analyzing hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components (servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and special processors)
Must have the ability to configure computers, communications devices, and peripheral equipment.
Must be experienced in preparing installation guides, field test procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Must be experienced in conducting site surveys to assess and document current network configurations and site-specific requirements
Must have the ability to prepare engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages, including drawings documenting as-built configurations at each site and site installation and test reports
Minimum of seven (7) years experience as a HE analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions
Bachelor's degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required OR Twelve (12) years of hardware engineering experience
Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
