Responsibilities:
Mission Architect charged with leading technical teams from mission analysis, payload architecture concept development, and payload design through prototype and test to deliver affordable, yet capable SIGINT overhead systems. Assists or oversees mission analysis, concept development, and payload design for signals intelligence. Develop and flow down system requirements to RF payload and Electronically Scanned Array (ESA) antenna mechanical and electrical designs. Provide technical and programmatic expertise for command and control, collection, processing, and exploitation of signals from air and space platforms. Support proposals and be an integral contributor for SIGINT solutions to critical Customer needs. This leadership position offers the opportunity to help shape the growing portfolio of air and space programs. Analyze mission needs and customer requirements for SIGINT systems and derive payload and signal processor designs based on the requirements.
Assess current and future antenna designs and associated electronics as to their suitability to the SIGINT applications.
Derive signal processing and mission data transport requirements for ISR systems and develop architectures to satisfy them.
Hardware SME to drive designs of SIGINT systems and Interface with the Customer on SIGINT-related issues.
Here is what you will need:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical field (such as electrical engineering, math, or physics).
15+ years of experience in SIGINT or related field (such as communications engineering or radar).
Past or Active Clearance with DoD or the IC.
5+ years of experience as a designer or architect of signal collection payloads to include antennas, RF electronics, digital electronics and data processing.
The ability to work in an agile environment that allows for rapid prototyping and the ability to meet aggressive timelines.
Experience working directly with customers, including presentations and proposals.
Possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
5+ years of experience in requirements analysis and development and flow.

The base salary range for this position is $147,700 to $264,100. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
