Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - not to exceed 19.5 hours per week
Summary of Position
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide effective instruction in the subject area, helping to fulfill the College's goal of providing a quality education for all students attending CTC . Instructor will teach synchronous virtual classes and must have applicable technology.
Minimum Required Education
Masters Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education including 18 graduate hours in the teaching field required.
Minimum Required Experience
Three years of teaching experience at the postsecondary or secondary level in an appropriate academic discipline is preferred. Experience with online or technology- enhanced curriculum is preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Possess a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught.
Be able to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Blackboard LMS , downloading and installing software, sending and receiving emails with attachments.
