Job Description
HII is hiring a Military Op Analyst (Mission Coordinator) for the NITE Program. They will Support Large force Exercise (LFE) operations on the East Coast in accordance with contract requirements. Acts as a point of contact for Government operations personnel on all range functions supporting LFE. Coordinates all mission support from mission scenario development to live/virtual/constructive operational support to post-mission debrief and evaluation. Supports planning and coordination for agencies participating in or supporting training operations on the range complex. Attends pre-mission conferences for users and support groups.
Additionally, the position requires flexibility to work occasional non-standard work hours and work weeks of more than 40 hours to meet business, customer, and contractual requirements
Essential Job Responsibilities
Analyzes and provides recommendations on issues dealing with disciplines such as military command control and communications, electronic warfare, weapon systems, contingency operations, Military Tactics Techniques and Procedures (MTTP), force planning, and training exercises. Coordinates with user community representatives throughout all phases of development concerning requirements definition, clarification, prioritization, and alternatives. Analyzes the conduct and results of operational user training, military maneuvers or simulated wartime operations undertaken to main the capabilities of a force. Compares, analyzes and evaluates the relative merits of program designs and alternatives. Applies emerging doctrine and tactics, whether detailed in formal doctrinal changes or emanating from Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWEs), Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs), or Force XXI activities, to system design and development. Assesses the impact of programmatic and technical options on stated user requirements and doctrine. Prepares reports and briefs summarizing support requirements, deficiencies, and investments for various programs and systems.
Supports Large force Exercise (LFE) operations in accordance with contract requirements. Directs the work of contractor personnel directly or through supervisors. Point of contact for Government operations personnel on all range functions supporting LFE. Coordinates all mission support from mission scenario development to live/virtual/constructive operational support to post-mission debrief and evaluation.
Responsible for development, production, and continuous update of written, photographic, and recordable training aids and materials for mission planning; familiarization of aircrew with range capabilities, assets, and operational procedures with detailed debriefings. Supports planning and coordination for agencies participating in or supporting training operations on the range complex. Complies with contract requirements and takes action when necessary to correct deficiencies. Attends pre-mission conferences for users and support groups. Prepares reports of range availability/scheduling/utilization. Develops and presents briefings on capability, operation, and requirements to military and government agencies, to include VIP presentations. Provides for equipment operator training for RTO and other on-site personnel in operation of display consoles. Conducts equipment demonstrations for authorized personnel. Performs RTO functions when user RTOs are not available.
Supports multiple government agencies in conducting live missions/virtual missions/constructed missions, which includes assistance with developing training scenarios, coordination of Fleet exercises, coordinating integrated air defense system functions, and their implementation. Implements and administers effective, rapid, and comprehensive method of distributing mission scenarios and updates. Provides feedback on mission results such as kills, and EW countermeasures effectiveness. Provides post-mission debriefings. Ensures mission data reduction support is provided. Develops lessons learned. Customer Responsibilities - Represents contractor on contract matters relating to LFE operations of the range. Meets with the Government as requested. Supports Government-sponsored meetings, briefings, and reviews as required. Ensures coordination and cooperation with other contractors/Government agencies. Coordinates range scheduling with the Government representatives.
Uses IEMS in support of contractual requirements. Routine travel to remote site facilities may be involved.
Minimum Qualifications
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field OR
7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field OR
4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
Bachelor degree in STEM and/or management field
Ten (10) years of experience in military aviation (1310/1320) or surface warfare (1110) or military planning in one or more of the following areas: Electronic warfare; TAO/BWC/Etc.; Operational planning or exercise development and evaluation.
Five (5) years of DoD training range experience
Three (3) years of managerial experience with DoD efforts
Ability to speak, read, and write English
U.S. Citizen
Top Secret clearance required. Eligible for TS/SCI

Cyber Security Awareness training
Knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs and processes
Possess a valid state Driver's License
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
