Job Description:
The Geospatial Data Scientist will collaborate with customers to develop comprehensive multi-INT, multi-source strategies to address intelligence problems.
Responsibilities:
Create tasking and dissemination requirements
Adjudicate requirements
Report on end-to-end GEOINT system performance data
Develop strategies that balance customer need with platform availability and capability
Provide technical expertise to working groups
Assist in developing dynamic
Tasking database (Standing Deck Task), coordinate, and collaborate to answer all intelligence problems
Support development of automated multi-INT collection strategies in support of ABI/OBP CONOPS using GIMS
Demonstrated ability and experience using Geospatial Information Management Systems (GIMS), Web Fishtools
Use analytic tools to develop models, visualize data, and perform a range of analyses (e.g., systems analysis, comparative analysis)
Document and visualize data both temporally and spatially to assist in data integrity checks, ask the next question, and display analytical assessments
Apply emerging and innovative analysis techniques to answer key intelligence questions
Provide technical consultation into the development, evaluation, use, and deployment of solutions to optimize GEOINT analysis and production
Must have:
3 years of experience in data or using machine learning to extract images
Experience with Python
Nice to have:
Bachelor of Science degree in a quantitative discipline such as data science, mathematics, statistics, earth science, quantitative social sciences, geographic information science, computer science, physics, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience using quantitative and qualitative techniques to solve complex problems using analytic tools and techniques such as GIS, quantitative methods and data visualization, modeling, systems analysis, comparative analysis, and database development.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in data mining, cleansing, and exploring spatial, temporal, and non-spatial data in both structured and unstructured formats.
Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, Pig or R), modeling software, spatial analysis tools and concepts, data mining methods, database structures and analytic information extraction and visualization.
Security Clearance:
An active TS/SCI clearance is required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
