TMC, a LinQuest company is seeking a Senior SATCOM Systems Maintainer/Integrator to join our team in our office in Colorado Springs, CO. An active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
The Senior SATCOM Systems Maintainer/Integrator prepares, develops, and implements hardware and software-based systems support to integration, and development tests. The Senior SATCOM Systems Maintainer/Integrator will support development, prototyping and demonstration at various CONUS and OCONUS sites. Will provide input and support to provide briefings on the status of events or portions of the overall program.
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite technical expertise in support of commercial and/or military SATCOM systems and equipment
Provide on-site high-level expertise on SATCOM systems.
Supports testing, operations, maintenance, logistics, integration, and installation
System and network administration to systems
Provides on-site support as a Field Services Representative (FSR) for geolocation systems and equipment
Provide technical assistance to daily operations, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance
Coordinate with other FSRs, test engineers, and software development teams to resolve operational and/or technical systems issues
Integrate program-specific hardware and software into systems for specific configurations to support test and exercise events
Prepare documentation to substantiate the integration of all aspects of the project.
Provide input to the Project Leader and the Program Manager on which an analysis of the technologies is made.
Provide high-level expertise on maintenance activities or system upgrades
Support development, prototyping and demonstration of various sites and travels and provides briefings on the status of events or portions of the overall program.
Perform and lead routine, non-routine, and complex maintenance on the following sub-systems: communications, networking, antenna, power, timing, signal distribution, trucks, trailers, environmental control, and support equipment.
Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documents
Apply advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex SATCOM problems.
Use a wide range of test instruments and equipment to restore systems or improve performance.
Document and report system status and fix actions.
Deploy SATCOM systems to support training exercises and contingency deployments in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Implement and ensure adherence to operations, maintenance and organizational procedures and policies.
Work with the team to author, review, edit, and recommend changes to technical, procedural, and training documentation.
Account for and ensure positive control of critical resources.
Adhere to personnel safety by identifying risks, mitigating risks and intervenes to prevent mishaps.
Provide support (telephonic or otherwise) as required to help isolate and resolve difficult issues.
Provide formal and informal training to operators and instructors whether team members or customer personnel.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
10+ years of experience in SATCOM maintenance and integration roles
AS or BS/BA in a technical field degree or vocational training in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience integrating satellite communication equipment and software
Possess and maintain an active Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
Knowledge of space military applications, and a working knowledge of military and ground operations is required.
Substantive knowledge of computer/networking and communications experience
Experience working independently and leading small teams in an integrated team-oriented, collaborative environment with prototype satellite communication systems
Requires an understanding of both theories and principles of electrical, mechanical, RF and software systems.
Advanced trouble shooting skills for RF and computer network systems
Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with customers at a professional level

Preferred Experience:
SATCOM or Wireless/RF Communication Systems experience
Experience with system and/or subsystem integration
Network Plus Certification, Security Plus Certification and/or Windows & Linux experience
Geolocation experience.
Experience operating or maintaining Electronic or Electromagnetic Warfare systems.
Experience with multi-frequency band (C, Ku, Ka, and X Bands) satellite terminals.
Computer system/network administration or maintenance experience.
Systems Engineering and Linux experience preferred.
Active Security+ Certification.
Compensation: The salary for this position ranges from approximately $93,000 to $134,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
