As a leader in electrical engineering and FPGA design, we're looking for you to solve complex challenges and shape DoD research staff challenges. Your client will trust you to not only to help test, design, and develop specific algorithms in Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. You'll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring of a hardware team focused on digital design and algorithm testing with FPGAs, while broadening your skillset into areas supporting radio frequency (RF) modeling and simulation. You will work alongside RF or radar modeling and simulation engineers and compare model outputs with corresponding hardware implementations to provide validation of threat representations. You Have:
6+ years of experience in digital design through HDL and schematic layout
Experience using AMD Vitis and related tools
Experience with Digital Signal Processing mathematics and implementing in synthesizable HDL
Experience with benchtop equipment, including Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, and Vector Signal Generator, and their various operating modes
Experience with RF signal propagation chain configurations, and scientific analysis software, such as MATLAB
Knowledge of RADAR and Electromagnetic Warfare, including EA and Electronic Support (ES) concepts
Knowledge of commercial RF and digital component and assembly distributers for rapid prototyping purposes
Knowledge of wideband RF signal acquisition and generation concepts, and associated development processes with FPGAs
Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
Experience with electrical circuit design and fabrication processes with printed circuit board development
Experience with other tools for FPGA development, such as Intel Quartus
Experience with EDA tools for HDL and RTL simulation, including ModelSim and Questa, Xcelium, VCS, or Aldec
Knowledge of embedded Linux and RTOS development, including U-Boot, yocto, BitBake, and OpenEmbedded, or device tree components
TS/SCI clearance
Master's degree in EE
