Summary
Mission Technologies a division of HII - Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) Team provides full-spectrum cyber, EW and space capabilities that address today's rapidly changing, multi-domain global security threats, and anticipate emerging threats. Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) is looking to hire a System Engineer to support our DOD/IC customer's new training center in Fort Washington, MD. The system engineer will provide overall guidance on the stand-up of this new capability and oversee laboratory support activities.
Responsibilities
As a Training Center / Lab Support systems engineer on our team you will:
Support the operation and maintenance of all hardware and software in compliance with established policies required by the customer for their production and training networks - to include deriving and managing requirements to ensure compatibility with defined architectures and compliance with customer standards; performing market studies and assisting in developing the system security plan.
Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline plus at least 6 years of systems engineering experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 10 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable
Experience developing and implementing an Information System Security Plan (ISSP) and securing the enterprise (STE) in accordance with computer security regulations, to include providing topologies and inventories; maintaining system documentation and configuration data for regulatory and audit purposes; and leading incident response for any breaches, intrusions, or theft.
Experience performing market surveys/studies and providing recommendations for a new and improved software to enhance IT capabilities. #LI-SG1
Clearance: Must possess and active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration.
