JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled Embedded System Engineer. In this role, you will
design and develop active RF systems for our cutting-edge products. You will
be expected to develop software, firmware, and hardware within small,
multidisciplinary teams. This will require you to strive for a system-level
understanding of all design tasks eventually elevating to contributions of
system architecture and internal tooling. You will also be expected to learn
and develop new skillsets with guidance from mentors and peers.
Required Education and Experience
Must have US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's degree
preferred) or equivalent
Experience architecting, developing and deploying embedded firmware within a
RTOS
Experience designing and troubleshooting analog and digital circuits
Experience with schematic capture, and PCB layout and assembly
Proficiency in a technical programming language such as Python
Proficiency with common test equipment including multi-meters,
oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
Preferred Education and Experience
FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or functional equivalent
Altium, or LTSpice
Experience with RF test equipment including phase noise analyzer, spectrum
analyzer, network analyzer, and power meters

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office and laboratory. This role routinely
uses laboratory equipment such as vector network analyzers, signal
generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. Typical office hours
include Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, however these hours will vary
based on workload and the manager's discretion. This job may require more
than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.
