Title:
Jr. Community Engagement & Strategic Planning Coordinator
Kord Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of KBR, is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Community Engagement & Strategic Planning Coordinator for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Modeling & Simulation (M&S), and Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E). This entry-level role involves supporting the engagement with technical and programmatic T&E and intelligence communities, assisting in organizing large meetings (including classified sessions), and aiding in strategic planning and tracking of current and future project investments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills and will work closely with the T&E and Intelligence Community (IC).
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
Assist in engaging with technical and programmatic T&E and IC communities
Help organize and sustain multiple large meetings per year, including classified sessions.
Support ongoing community engagement and foster strong relationships during and between meetings.
Support for Enterprise Leads and Government Customers:
Aid enterprise leads in Space, Electronic Warfare, and AI-Enabled systems with project investment strategic planning, especially in administrative issues and data management.
Collaborate with government customers to help identify programs, requirements, test capabilities, gaps, and projects to close those gaps.
Coordination and Strategy:
Provide administrative support to ensure projects are on schedule and meet objectives.
Help develop and implement strategies to enhance community engagement and project success.
Investment Strategic Planning:
Track and promote the investment strategic plan process.
Engage the community to contribute to the growth and refinement of the investment roadmap based on their areas of expertise.
Assist in presenting the refined roadmap during annual large community meetings.
Training and Development:
Help organize training programs and coordinate trainers in AI, M&S, T&E
Ensure training programs are aligned with community needs and technological advancements.
Promote continuous learning and development within the community.
Communication and Documentation:
Serve as a key point of contact for communication within the community.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Document and track progress on project roadmaps and community engagement activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field.
2-8 years of related experience
Excellent organizational, coordination, and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, as required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
Desired:
Experience in community engagement, program management, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in administrative support or coordination roles.
Basic understanding of technical concepts is a plus but not required.
Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
Knowledge of meeting interdependencies and best practices, including technology capabilities and venue considerations
Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively.
Familiarity with test and evaluation processes
TS/SCI Clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
