As a Lead Systems Engineer at SRCTec LLC, you will play an integral role in the configuration, production, test, and sustainment for radar, CUAS, and electronic warfare systems. You will work closely with experienced engineers and guide junior engineers to provide design inputs and requirements for manufacturability and sustainment. You will establish and maintain system configurations, support transition from development to production, establish production test procedures, monitor component obsolescence, and troubleshoot problems that are encountered during production. You will collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams of hardware, software, and manufacturing engineers and stay at the cutting-edge of electronics manufacturing.
What You'll Do
Provide design inputs for manufacturability and sustainment
Define system configurations, including Bills of Materials and system drawings
Develop system and subsystem test procedures
Participate in Configuration Control Boards to evaluate product changes for manufacturability and sustainability
Evaluate trade studies, system architectures, algorithms, system requirements, and design specifications to improve product and process accuracy, repeatability, and yield
Investigate and resolve system faults discovered during transition to and during production
Perform system simulations, modeling, and data analysis (via MATLAB and/or Python) to identify product and process improvement opportunities
Monitor and resolve obsolete components issues
Keep up-to-date with the latest systems engineering technologies and tools
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development in production systems engineering
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in systems engineering or related experience with RF and electronic systems
Experience with systems engineering, configuration management, and product lifecycle management tools
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Some travel (10%) may be required to p rovide support for field tests, demonstrations, and customer meetings
Must be a US citizen
