Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking an experienced professional with current expertise in operations of U.S. Navy Submarine Electronic Warfare (EW) systems and associated doctrine. We're looking for someone who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment and is comfortable splitting time between several functional areas associated with the Submarine Force and other communities.
What You Will Be Doing:
Applying your technical expertise and fleet experience, you'll join a project team at the Undersea Warfighting Development Center Tactical Analysis Group that develops technical and tactical guidance for the Submarine Force. In a full-time role at Naval Submarine Base New London, you'll become an integral member of a team that includes active duty submarine officers and chiefs, EW specialists, and Intelligence specialists.
You will also apply your technical and operational expertise to be an essential part of our EW publications team, collaborating with engineers and subject matter experts in the research, design, development, testing, and evaluation of modern EW and other related electro-mechanical systems.

Required Qualifications:
7 years active duty service in U.S. Navy Submarine Force, ending within the last 5 years
Operational experience across multiple submarine platforms (e.g. SSN 688, SSBN 726, SSN 21, SSN 774) with a variety of EW equipment (e.g. AN/BLQ-10, AN/ULR-22), in various configurations
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in analysis, testing, and/or certification/qualification of EW, Imaging, carry-on equipment, and other electronic systems
Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
Desired Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to work across governmental offices and ranks
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical information in concise and easy to understand language
Familiarity with and ability to support authoring of doctrine and system employment products
10 years relevant experience in analysis, testing, and/or certification/qualification of EW, Imaging, carry-on equipment, and other electronic systems
Cryptologic Operator experience applying complex collection and analysis techniques with analog and digital equipment. C14A, C17A, C22A, C24A, and C34A Navy Enlisted Classifications highly desired.
Open to frequent travel
Experience in troubleshooting and repair of various Submarine EW, Imaging, carry-on equipment, and other electronic systems
Experience interpreting technical drawings and work packages
Ability to use and interpret a variety of electronic test equipment
Possessing an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance*
