What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and implement the quality plans for the roads projects, including project audit to ensure compliance with client and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Provide outreach oversight, coaching, and guidance to the quality program activities concerning day to day performance of the work scope.
- Report quality issues to the QIP XDS Senior Quality Manger and develop appropriate recommendations/resolutions/mitigations as necessary.
- Facilitate forming partnerships with key stakeholders and organizations on the program.
- Responsible for oversight of all quality among our team.
- Responsible for working closely with QIC, delivery partners, and Consultants/Contractors for integrated quality with all key stakeholders, including authorizing authorities and any/all interested parties.
- Assign work to employees, oversee, and track the completion of work assignments.
- Interview and selects personnel for assignment as required.
- Maintain clear and concise work standards and goals; provide training and development; complete performance evaluations, conduct employee counselling, take corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to all corporate, contractual, ethics and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Quality discipline or related field (or equivalent work experience) and typically 12+ years of related work experience in the field of Quality, including 5+ years experience in management capacity.
Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equal) or ASQ certification (CMQ/OE, CQA, or CQE).
