Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Construction Manager - Piling to join our team in NEOM. Parsons is providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the development of NEOM Infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. NEOM is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. The site is near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

Position Overview:
The Construction Manager is responsible for exercising technical expertise in the construction engineering field, within major construction projects. The incumbent employs exceptional construction knowledge and specialization in several fields of construction engineering.
Specific Responsibilities:
Undertakes responsibility for overseeing the construction supervision activities of the design consultant and management of construction project(s).
Serves as the onsite representative for the management and inspection of contractor construction activities, coordination of construction with operations and tenants, determination of appropriate contractor progress payments, processing and negotiation of changes to the work and claims, and control of contract documentation including submittal and letter processing, monitoring and reporting progress.
Supervises a staff consisting of construction coordinators, quantity surveyors and administrative assistants.
Coordinates among supervision consultant, contractors, airport personnel, design personnel, and others.
Coordinates the resolution of construction problems.
Participates in procurement / tender evaluations.
Supervises the preparation of construction procedures.
Project procedures and reporting.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor or higher degree in engineering or relevant experience is required.
15 years of construction and engineering experience directly related to general field administration on significant construction projects is required. Ten years of the experience must be in responsible construction administration assignments involving independent construction and general office engineering decisions on international infrastructure projects.
Additional Requirements:
Evidence of good potential growth shown by satisfactory performance in past positions
Proficiency in applying advanced construction management techniques and the ability to plan, organize and supervise the construction administration work of one or more construction projects. Capable of adapting to demanding project conditions
Ability to adapt to new situations and to react objectively and expeditiously to critical and emergency construction operation engineering problems
Effective oral and written communication skills. Computer literate.
