Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Government Property Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to use extensive experience and judgement to plan, account for, control, and manage both Government furnished, and Contractor acquired government property in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, FAR 52.245-1 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, DFARS 252-245-7005.
Property includes, but is not limited to exhibits, space hardware, artifacts, models, electronics, shop tools, machinery, furniture, and materials.
What You'll be Doing:
Identify compliance and flow down requirements from prime contract and deviations from standard procedures/manual.
Develop procedures, instructions, forms, and training programs.
Implement government property processes such as asset control, inventories, training, employee orientation, and disposal.
Create property records using the Wasp inventory management software and maintains property record databases for uniquely identified property, summary records, subcontractor property, excess property and disposed property.
Prepare various property reports upon request, such as government inventory and government property status reports.
Participate in government property related meetings. Organizes and prepares materials for meetings, presentations and training sessions.
Provide audit support and participates in property-related audits.
Conduct investigations and inquiries into government property management issues (i.e. Loss/Damage/Destruction of government property or vehicle accident reviews).
Coordinate with other functional departments as necessary.
Prepare or assist in the preparation of periodic status reports, such as reports pertaining to locations, property value, and utilization status.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Required Clearance:
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field from an accredited college or university.
A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in property administration is required.
Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM)
National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA) certification or other related certifications.
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 52.245-1), (DFAR 252-245-7005) and applicable Agency Supplements (i.e., 4161.2M DoD Manual for the Performance of Contract Property Administration).
Knowledge of auditing techniques.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, Costpoint and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).
Ability to lead and motivate a team of property professionals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Salary Range:
