Job Description:
Parsons is looking for a sharp Junior Software Reverse Engineer to join our growing Exploitation, Test and Analysis team! In this role you will use your skills in embedded processing and assembly language to analyze software to gain understanding of capabilities, limitations and vulnerabilities of threat weapon systems. This includes detailed analysis of multi-processor communication, embedded controllers and signal processing. You will work alongside subject matter experts to piece together the puzzle, gain understanding and share findings and assessments.
What You'll Be Doing:
Analyzing software and electrical hardware to understand how it functions
Working closely with the customer to understand and deliver quality products that accomplish their mission
Solving challenging puzzles and providing creative solutions
Preparing quick-look analysis and detailed intelligence-based reports on systems under study
Required Clearance:
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Minimum SECRET clearance is required to start, but you must be willing and able to obtain/maintain a DoD TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or similar discipline with 2+ years of experience in software reverse engineering
Experience with/understanding of assembly languages (x86, ARM, DSPs, etc.)
Experience with reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, debuggers, etc.)
Working knowledge of computer architecture and electronic circuitry
Ability to self-research and problem solve
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
DoD TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
Experience supporting the intelligence community, particularly on foreign material exploitation or software reverse engineering efforts
Experience/understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, RTOS, Embedded, etc.)
Experience with/understanding of ground-to-air missile systems and subsystems
Working knowledge of programming languages (C/C++, Python, etc.)
Military / communications experience

Salary Range:
