Business Development Specialist will provide services to small and medium-sized businesses, as well as global corporations and government institutions that conduct international business or wish to expand into new markets in the United States and post-Soviet Union countries. These services will relate to a broad range of international corporate and business development matters, including corporate registration and reporting compliance, legal and accounting support, market research, etc. Meet with clients to understand their priorities, needs, and goals, and create sound business plans. Research local and global markets, trends, and technologies in various industries and regions in order to assist clients with optimizing the efficiency of their business processes and reducing costs. Apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret primary and secondary data and produce substantiated recommendations and presentations, to support short and long-term business decisions. Identify the key insights from existing member/consumer data and determine relevant membership, brand, or marketing program implications. Develop and implement distinct member segmentation profiles, including consumer behavior, product interest(s), practice focus, and demographic information, and monitor the activity of the segments, recommending adjustments to select promotional strategies. Research, review, and analyze information about clients' potential competitors' products and services to develop a comprehensive understanding of specific competitor activities and their impact on clients' strategy to improve their competitive position. Develops strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of clients' needs, their products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth with acceptable margins as well as ensures strategic alignment with the clients' long term business plans and regional and country objectives. Conduct research on cross-cultural issues, ethics, and specifics in conducting business in a country of clients' interest and prepare comprehensive reports on such issues. Develop and manage plans and programs to evaluate value and effectiveness of collateral and promotional materials, electronic communications, advertising, website, exhibits, and other delivery channels; manage all activities within budget requirements. Communicate market research initiatives with project teams and leadership. Serve a consultative role in translating strategic issues into reporting and analysis deliverables for senior management and clients. Proactively identify and deliver relevant analytics to address key business needs and drive business growth. Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers through networking, correspondence, and engagement throughout Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Establish broad network and key contacts, and act as a liaison with a wide array of foreign legal experts, tax specialists, real estate consultants, and other private and government organizations to readily assist clients with any specific issues pertaining to having international business operations. Use knowledge of the Russian language to communicate with non-speaking clients and providers in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (post-Soviet countries). Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related. Must be proficient in Multiple levels of Excel, Python, and Adobe Creative Suite as evidenced by experience or specific course work. Must be fluent in Russian.
