POSITION OVERVIEW
LENAX is looking for qualified candidates for a GIS Specialist II to join an airport's Planning & Design Division's Technology & Innovation Unit. The selected candidate will join a team of 40+ planners, architects, engineers, and other technical professionals, to plan and design the next "wave" of capital investments for a large-scale airport CIP program, including airfield improvements, terminal improvements, infrastructure improvements and more!
The role of GIS Specialist II will be to develop and support the airport/Client's ArcGIS Indoors information model (IIM) for wayfinding and space planning. They will develop indoor routing network and floor transitions and integrate vehicular, pedestrian, and indoor networks into a comprehensive wayfinding system. They will also develop and maintain web and mobile geospatial applications that enable end-users to leverage location intelligence.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Configuring ArcGIS Pro maps, authoring dashboards, and creating web and mobile applications.
Consolidating the Client's assets and space information into a floor-aware maps and applications.
Creating easily accessible and user-friendly web and mobile apps for location discovery and wayfinding.
Participating in combining the Client's AutoCAD and BIM data into a single geospatial system of record using ArcGIS Indoors.
Developing new capabilities to support indoor mapping workflows that require 2D and 3D visualization.
Providing solutions to complex problems through application design, product development, and user experience.
Executing workflows, including data migration and quality control.
Other related duties.

Five (5) years of experience with the ArcGIS platform.
two (2) years of professional experience working with Indoors Information Model.
Two (2) years of professional experience in ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online application development.
Work experience with real-time data and Autodesk products is a plus.
EDUCATION / TRAINING
Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS / DESIGNATIONS
Relevant certifications a plus.

This position offers a hybrid/telework schedule. Telework - Monday and Friday. Onsite - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Details available in the Client's Pilot Policy.
Work Location:
The position will report to the designated Los Angeles area project offices. (Reporting location and instructions will be provided upon hire.)
Telework Option:
Telework is available, but approval is at the discretion of the Owner/Client and Department leadership. Note: This is not a fully-remote position. Telework, if afforded, is offered as a benefit, and is not required. For those who are authorized to telework, it is assumed that they have the necessary workstation items available to them at home. A complete workstation is provided, at the office, only.
Position Status / Compensation:
This is a full-time, regular, "Exempt" position, with Lenax Construction Services, Inc. as the employer, and performing consultative services, as a GIS Specialist II at the Owner/Client's designated project offices.
The compensation for this position is $45 - $48.50/hr. ($93,600 - $100,880/yr.). The assigned rate will be based upon experience, directly applicable experience, industry experience, skills, education, and other certifications, licensure and training.
