This position is an onsite role. Job Summary The Nightwing team is looking for interns to work as RF specialists. The candidates will have knowledge and experience with signal processing algorithms and techniques in both the analog and digital domains. This includes experience programming for fixed-point and floating-point Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) such as Texas Instruments and Analog Devices. The candidate must demonstrate understanding of basic signal topics such as Nyquist theorem, analog-to-digital converter (ADC), digital-to-analog converter (DAC) and I/Q imbalance. Advanced candidate will have experience with modem signal processing and analysis techniques such as filter design, discrete Fourier transforms (DFTs), beamforming, Forward Error Correction (FEC) and equalizers. Responsibilities to Anticipate Investigating and developing RF technologies and techniques Validating the resulting RF concepts through test, measurement, and characterization in an RF lab environment Assignments will range from initial research and prototyping to full solution development Basic Qualifications U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
