HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Aircraft Depot Maintenance Planner to support Headquarters, Air Force Material Command's A4/FD Requirements Review Depot Determination (R2D2) team at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilizing experience with Depot Maintenance (DM) activities, use metrics, data analysis, and utilization of existing data infrastructure to track and determine operational effectiveness of organic DM.
Assist workload forecasting by gathering inputs, processing repair decisions, preparing packages for leadership approval, and documenting decisions in the Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) Automated Management System (AMS).
Review capability establishment ensuring alignment with leaders' decisions. Recommend corrective actions and support workload forecasting to ensure depot capability and manpower plans are adequately funded.
Draft, review, and staff documentation to support plans, policies, staffing and budget needs. Prepare/present metrics for corporate boards, councils, symposiums, and leadership meetings.
Track execution of budgets and financial performance by monitoring customer order variations, capacity availability, and carryover positions.
Develop and deploy training on DM processes while identifying process problems, performing root cause analysis, and recommending solutions.
Education and Experience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:
Master's Degree and ten (10) year's experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed
Bachelor's Degree and twelve (12) years' experience
High School Diploma and fifteen (15) years' of directly related experience.
