We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented, contract Junior Financial Analyst to join the team 100% onsite in San Francisco, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build a strong foundation in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and process improvement.
What You'll Do
As a Junior Financial Analyst, you'll contribute to a variety of business initiatives and help transform data into meaningful recommendations by:
Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
Creating reports, dashboards, and presentations for business stakeholders.
Identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities that support strategic decision-making.
Performing data validation and quality assurance to ensure reporting accuracy.
Assisting with process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
Partnering with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide analytical support.
Conducting research, benchmarking, and competitive analysis as needed.
Documenting findings, recommendations, and project outcomes.
Supporting ad hoc reporting requests and special projects.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
1 to 2 years of experience in an analytical, administrative, internship, or business support role.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools.
Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
Exposure to reporting, analytics, or business intelligence methodologies.
