Our Canada team is looking for a new graduate engineer to join our growing team in Halifax. This person will want to work on creating innovative, practical solutions to various infrastructure projects out of our new Halifax office.
We specialise in bridge design and analysis, earthquake engineering, and the repair and construction of efficient, elegant structures that are sustainably integrated into their environment. Main Responsibilities:
Structural designer for bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
Participate in the preparation of deliverables (design calculations, feasibility and preliminary designs, studies, capacity assessments, structural analyses, plans, specifications, inspections, estimates and work schedules, etc.).
Work closely with fellow engineers and technicians to provide coordinated designs.
Ensure that deliverables are in conformance to technical guides, company’s standards as well as applicable codes.
Perform other engineering activities associated with this position as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering with specialization in structures
1+ years of experience in bridge design
Knowledge of bridge standards (including CAN/CSA-S6) and structural analysis software (SAP, CSiBridge, etc.)
