Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Project Architect - Saudi National to join our team!
In this role, you will join a professional engineering, construction, and cost management team involved in multiple King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) projects. KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadh’s new Central Business District that combines a real estate development of approximately 850,000 sqm of office space, 115,000 GLA of retail, 1,200 residential units, 5-star Hotels, and 600 hospitality keys. KAFD is set to be the leading enabler of the KSA 2030 vision.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develops the facade scope of engineering work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project elements and monitors progress to meet schedule and budget requirements. Identifies and documents changes in scope.
- Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for assigned project buyouts, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements.
- Interfaces with procurement and subcontract personnel to facilitate the bid process.
- Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers.
- Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.
- Assists the Project Director in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of the project or study's technical, fiscal, and administrative functions. Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required to successfully complete the project.
- Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
- Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Director.
- Prepares technical reports and activity documentation for the client and project management.
- Obtains, analyzes and circulates technical and contractual information to project disciplines.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Degree in Architecture or similar.
- 3+ years related field engineering experience or a broad general engineering background
- Professional registration may also be required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Potential to perform in a lead capacity, excellent written and oral communications skills, and familiarity with industry practices and regulations.
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on projects.
- Knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities and impact of project execution. (High proficiency)
